1/2 cup margarine

1/2 cup crisco

3 ounces cream cheese

1 1/2 cups sugar

1 egg

2 tablespoons milk

1/2 teaspoon vanilla

2 squares unsweetened baking chocolate -- melted and

cooled 2 1/4 cups flour

1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup walnuts -- chopped

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Cream together margarine, crisco, cream cheese and sugar. Add egg, vanilla and milk. Stir in chocolate and dry ingredients. Stir in nuts. Drop by spoonfuls on cookie sheet and bake for 8 minutes.
