2 c Yogurt Grated orange rind (1 -orange) optional 1 ts Baking powder 3 tb Brandy OR 1 tb Vanilla extract 1/2 ts Salt 3 c Flour, sifted Serves: 8 Combine yogurt, orange rind and salt. dissolve soda in brandy and add enough flour to make a pancake like batter. Cover and set aside in warm place for one and a half hours, or until raised and bubbly. Stir batter. Drop by spoonfuls into hot oil. Deep fat fry until golden brown, turning once.
